Balkandokma Closed Joint-Stock Company, located in the city of Serdar of Turkmenistan’s western velayat of Balkan, produced 2,740 tons of cotton yarn in January-July 2021. The growth rate compared to the same period last year amounted to 132%, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.
Over the first seven months of this year, the volume of products supplied to consumers exceeded 47.68 million manats, an increase of 26 million manats compared to the same period last year.
The enterprise is designed to annually produce 11 thousand tons of cotton yarn from 13 thousand tons of cotton fiber. The company's products are sent not only to domestic markets, but also to Turkey and European countries.
Balkandokma CJSC, which produces high-quality yarn from cotton grown in different velayats, opened in 2004. The enterprise employs 645 specialists.
