Gokdepe Cotton Mill Produces 46 Million Manats Worth of Yarn
The mill’s cotton yarn produced in first half of 2021 was used mainly in the production of garments and knitwear in the country.
Gokdepe Cotton Spinning Factory in Turkmenistan’s Ahal velayat produced products worth over 46.2 million manats in six months of 2021, the country’s official media reported on Saturday.
The growth rate during the six months amounted to 109.6% compared to the same period in 2020, according to the report.
The cotton yarn produced during this period was used mainly in the production of garments and knitwear in the country. The factory's products were also exported to overseas markets.
Commissioned in 2010, Gokdepe mill has the capacity to annually produce 14,500 tons of Nm 16-1 ring carded yarn.
