Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern’s Department for the production of liquefied gas in Lebap velayat produced about 44 thousand tons of products in the first seven months of this year. The growth rate compared to the same period last year amounted to 106.8%.
The department’s output of gas condensate, which is the raw material for the Seydi Oil Refinery, amounted to about 36,600 tons. The growth rate compared to the same period last year amounted to 139.5%, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Friday.
The bulk of the petrochemical products produced at the Naip and Bagaja gas fields goes to export. The export volumes also exceeded the level of 2020, according to the report.
Presently, a number of management activities are being carried out for the storage of finished products, shipping and transportation. Over the past period, construction and installation works were carried out in the city of Gazochak on the capital arrangement of cargo structures intended for the acceptance and shipment of liquefied gas by rail and road transport.
