Activities are currently underway to establish two associations uniting Turkmen poultry farmers and greenhouse producers of fruits and vegetables.
Industry associations uniting private manufacturers of different products will be created within the structure of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), the Union reported on Friday.
Activities are currently underway to establish two associations, one of which will unite the country's poultry farmers, and the other – greenhouse producers of fruits and vegetables.
New associations will be created with the aim of developing the main areas of industrial agricultural production, and primarily import-substituting and export-oriented products.
The associations will facilitate the coordination of the work of private companies, the timely solution of business issues relevant to the industry, and provide legal and expert support to enterprises, according to the UIET.
Established in 2008, the UIET unites over 25 thousand businesses working in different sectors of the economy.
