The XX International Exhibition White City-Ashgabat, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Turkmen capital, takes place at the expo center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on May 24-25, the country’s official media reports.

According to the report, a large-scale exhibition, reflecting the achievements and long-term plans for the development of the country's main city, presents such thematic sections as urban planning and management systems, engineering supply networks, transport and communications, industrial and social infrastructure, construction and building materials, municipal equipment and ecology.

The event gathered more than 90 exhibitors, including representatives of foreign companies.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his congratulatory address noted that the exhibition will demonstrate to the world the achievements of Ashgabat in urban planning, strengthen international cooperation, make the capital more beautiful, and help it become one of the most beautiful and livable cities in the world.

At the end of the exhibition, all participants of the forum will be awarded the appropriate certificates and diplomas.
