A general reporting meeting dedicated to the results of the activities of the National Organization of Turkmenistan on Barcodes (GS1 Turkmenistan) was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by members of the organization, heads and representatives of government agencies and private businesses, as well as media representatives, the GS1 Turkmenistan said in its press release.
The agenda of the annual meeting included issues related to the activities of the Chairman and Supervisory Board of GS1 Turkmenistan in 2020, organizational issues, including structural changes in the organization.
To date, over 50 thousand trade names of products manufactured in the country have been appropriately labeled, according to the statement.
GS1 is an international non-profit organization that develops and maintains global standards for business communication. GS1 standards are designed to improve the efficiency, safety and visibility of supply chains across physical and digital channels.
