Foreign businesses purchased base oil, polypropylene, liquefied gas, diesel, road bitumen and aviation kerosene for foreign currency.
The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $38.083 million.
Business circles of foreign countries bought petrochemical products for foreign currency. In particular, businesses based in Russia, the UK, Switzerland, the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased base oil, polypropylene, liquefied gas, hydrotreated diesel fuel, oil road bitumen and aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), the country’s official media reported on Saturday.
Companies from Afghanistan purchased purchased liquefied gas produced by the Türkmengaz (Turkmengas) State Concern.
State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 31 transactions last week.
