Turkmen President instructed to analyze the work of the heads of the oil and gas complex’s enterprises.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during an online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Friday instructed to find new young and capable leaders for the oil and gas complex.

The Head of State noted that despite the state’s support to the oil and gas complex, there is no positive dynamics in the work of complex’s enterprises, the country’s official media reports.

Türkmengaz (Turkmengas) and Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) state concerns, Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, and almost all enterprises of the complex cannot consistently fulfill planned targets, Turkmen President said.

President Berdimuhamedov instructed Vice-Premier Shahym Abdrahmanov to thoroughly analyze the current situation and submit proposals for improving the work of the supervised enterprises. The Head of State also instructed to analyze the work of the heads of the complex’s enterprises, and said that if necessary, find new young and capable leaders, who will work energetically and direct all efforts for the benefit of the cause and for the good of the country.

The government meeting summed up the results of the work of the branches of the national economy for two months of this year and discussed important matters of the country's domestic and foreign policy.
