Turkmenistan’s Goturdepe Field Produces Over 1.3 Million Tons of Oil
Around 4 thousand tons of crude oil are extracted from the Goturdepe field daily.
Goturdepenebit Oil and Gas Production Enterprise of Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern’s Nebitgazçykaryş company in 2020 extracted more than 1.313 million tons of crude oil from the operating wells, which is 6% more compared to 2019.
During the period, 17 productive wells at the Goturdepe field were put into operation. The enterprise presently carries out exploration works at 15 wells, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Friday.
Presently, around 4 thousand tons of crude oil are extracted from the Goturdepe field daily.
All oil production facilities are equipped with modern technologies and equipment. The process of oil production and treatment is carried out by highly qualified specialists of the enterprise, according to the report.
The development strategy of the Goturdepenebit enterprise is aimed at the exploration of new hydrocarbon resources and the efficient development of fields through the introduction of new technologies.
