A plant for the production of reinforced concrete products in Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz velayat manufactured products worth over 17 million manats last year, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Monday.
The plant of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan not only produces many types of large-panel structures for house construction, but also has its own construction division, which actively builds various residential buildings in many parts of the velayat.
The plant builds brick and large-panel apartment buildings in Dashoguz city and is engaged in the construction of cottage-type houses under a mortgage program in other parts of Dashoguz velayat.
The company also engages local businesses for cooperation. Several individual enterprises, as subcontractors, were involved in the building of a number of one-storey five-room houses in a new modern village under construction in Täze Ýol settlement of Koneurgench etrap.
The enterprise is also building four such houses in partnership with private businesses in the city of Akdepe, three two-storey cottages - in the administrative center of Gurbansoltan-eje etrap.
The main activity of the plant equipped with modern specialized machinery is the production of concrete and reinforced concrete products, which are in high demand in various sectors of the national economy, including pipes of various diameters and hatches for concreted sewer wells.
