Enterprise in Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz Produces 3,029 Square Meters of Carpets
The plant’s carpets are distinguished by fine ornaments, harmony of colors and high quality.
Turkmen carpet weaving enterpris of Dashoguz velayat weaved 3,029 square meters of carpets and carpet products in 2020, fulfilling the annual production plan by 106.4%.
According to Turkmenistan newspaper’s Tuesday issue, the enterprise, which is one of the leading in the velayat, finished the last year with impressive performance and high labor results. The plant produced carpets and carpet products worth 4.87 million manats, achieving the growth rate of 136.6% compared to the same period last year.
The enterprise presently weaves custom-made carpets of various sizes for residential and office buildings. The plant’s carpets are distinguished by fine ornaments, harmony of colors and high quality.
Türkmenhaly State Association includes 8 enterprises for the production of traditional Turkmen carpets and these enterprises in turn contain over 100 carpet making sites and workshops located in all velayats of Turkmenistan. These enterprises employ more than 5 thousand carpet-weavers.
