Turkmenistan’s Demirýollary OJSC, responsible for the transportation of passengers and cargo on railways, has launched an updated automated system, which provides online services for organizing domestic and international rail freight transportation, according to the company’s official website.
The company’s clients will now be able to use the updated system to submit an online application for a special rail code. The code will provide access to the Personal Account, which allows the company's clients to manage online applications, payments, shipments and documentation online.
The launch of the online system eliminates the need for clients that carry out export-import trade operations with Turkmenistan and organize transit cargo through the territory of Turkmenistan to open a branch or appoint a representative in the country.
For cargo transportation, the company provides various types of wagons. The updated system is expected to contribute to the successful implementation of the established plans of trade, manufacturing, construction and industrial enterprises.
