The enterprise of entrepreneur Arslan Movlamov from the Astanababa village of Lebap velayat’s Kerki etrap has launched the production of footwear under the Ýelken trademark.
According to Türkmen Gündogary newspaper’s Thursday issue, the Turkmen company's products have gained popularity among customers in a short time. Local raw materials are used in the production of footwear.
The company currently employs 17 specialists. Much of the work in the enterprise is done by hand and every day 45-50 pairs of shoes are produced in different sizes, shapes and colors.
The enterprise operates shoe stores in the city of Kerki, Koytendag and Hojambaz etraps, and plans to open its outlets in Turkmenabat and Ashgabat cities.
The entrepreneur also intends to expand the scope of his activities, setting up the production of such products as women's bags, wallets and school backpacks.
