Russian communications service provider Rostelecom intends to expand cooperation with Turkmenistan, Trend news agency reported on Sunday with reference to company.
According to the report, the Russian digital services provider is considering the prospects for inter-operator cooperation not only with Turkmenistan, but also with neighboring countries via Turkmenistan, including the delivery of Russian content to the country.
“We work in close partnership with Turkmenistan. We are constantly looking for and developing new areas of cooperation,” the company told Trend.
The company added that the cooperation with Turkmenistan continues despite the global pandemic.
Rostelecom also plans to organize meetings with its Turkmen colleagues after the normalization of the global epidemiological situation and resumption of air traffic.
Rostelecom is the largest integrated provider of digital services and solutions in Russia, which is present in all market segments and covers millions of households, public and private organizations. The Russian company has been cooperating with Turkmentelecom, a telecommuanication operator in Turkmenistan, since 2006.
