Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan on Thursday hosted online meeting with representatives of American Case New Holland company headed by the CNH International Business Director for Central and South Asian and Caucasus countries Stuart Campbell.
According to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry’s press release, The Turkmen side included the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Muhammetgeldi Serdarov, Chairman of the State Committee for Water Resources Guzgeldi Bayjanov, and representatives of these institutions.
The meeting participants exchanged views on the current state and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation. The sides particularly focused on establishing cooperation in the supply of modern technologies in the field of water management.
The company makes a great contribution to the development and strengthening of the technical capabilities of the country's agricultural industry, supplying the latest equipment, including arable tractors, grain and cotton harvesters, the Foreign Ministry said in the statement. In this regard, the parties discussed procurement of Case agricultural machinery, which are designed for the soil and climate conditions of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen side declared its constant adherence to the processes of transformation and modernization of the country's agriculture and expressed hope for the further development of cooperation.
