Seydi Oil Refinery Produces Over 171 Thousand Tons of Gasoline
The country's first oil refinery, the SOR, is designed to process six million tons of crude oil annually.
Seydi Oil Refinery (SOR) in Turkmenistan’s Lebap velayat received 339 thousand tons of raw materials for processing in January-September this year, including 151.1 thousand tons of crude oil.
According to Türkmen Gündogary newspaper’s Thursday issue, the enterprise processed 354.6 thousand raw materials during the period, fulfilling the plan by 110.7%.
The plant produced 171.3 thousand tons of various types of gasoline from processed raw materials. Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate of gasoline production is 125.6%.
During the period, the oil refinery produced 102.9 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 12 thousand tons of fuel oil, more than 25.2 thousand tons of heavy vacuum gas oil and more than 23.5 thousand tons of bitumen.
The country's first oil refinery, the SOR, is designed to process six million tons of crude oil annually. In 2019, the refinery processed around 600 thousand tons of oil.
