Merjen Aý Individual Enterprise produces more than 100 tons of water-based paints per month, Türkmenistan newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The company's products are supplied to the markets of the capital and regions of Turkmenistan in containers of 3.5 kg, 9 kg and 18 kg under the Merjen Boýag trademark.
“At the moment we are fulfilling an order for the constructions of the 16th stage of development of Ashgabat. The use of local raw materials, that is, naturally enriched lime and the percentage of water in the products of 15%, create favorable conditions in the production process. In the mixing shop, we have all the possibilities to create more than 300 types of paint at the request of the customer,” said the head of the company Yakup Ishanov.
The company also operates a seperate workshop for the production of containers for paints - plastic buckets. Polypropylene, which is used as a raw material for the manufacture of the buckets, is purchased from the Turkmenbashi complex of Oil Refineries on the basis of a signed contract, according to Ishanov.
Located in Ahal velayat’s Ak Bugday etrap, Merjen Aý’s production facility was commissioned in April 2012. The enterprise currently employs 12 people.
