The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 35 transactions last week.
Businesses based in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan and Pakistan purchased Turkmen cotton yarn worth more than 4.217 million manats, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Saturday.
For foreign currency, business representatives from Afghanistan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, and petroleum bitumen produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery.
In addition, among businesses from Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan, terry products and cotton yarn of Turkmenistan were in high demand. In total, the businesses purchased $4,895,000 worth of the products.
For the domestic market, local businesses purchased high density polyethylene, cotton fiber and cotton linters for a total amount of over 3.35 million manats.
In total, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 35 transactions last week.
