The Netherlands has the potential to further strengthen economic ties with Turkmenistan, Trend reported on Thursday citing the Dutch Foreign Ministry.
"We have constructive bilateral trade relations with Turkmenistan," the Ministry said.
The Dutch Ministry noted that the trade links mainly cover the agricultural sector.
Turkmen businesses actively cooperate with their Dutch counterparts, particularly Sahawatly Economic Society for the purchase of cattle and Nurly Meýdan agricultural company for the supply of Dutch roses to Turkmen market.
As for other areas, Turkmenistan and the Dutch company Damen Shipyards Gorinchem in May this year had discussed cooperation prospects in shipbuilding sector.
