Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Visits Dental Center Under Construction in Ashgabat

National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a working visit to Ashgabat on Friday, where he inspected the final stage of construction of a new Dental Center, according to Turkmenistan's official state media.

During the visit, Berdimuhamedov reviewed interior design plans, landscaping proposals, and blueprints for associated facilities of the multi-story medical complex. The inspection was also attended by renowned German dentist Axel Zollner and his colleagues, who specialize in digital treatment methods and modern dental technologies.

Doctor J. Garlyyev, a physician from the center, briefed Berdimuhamedov on the technical equipment of the new facility. One of the center’s key features, he noted, will be its ability to provide inpatient treatment, with dedicated departments for various age groups, including children.

A representative of Turkish company GAP Inşaat, which is overseeing construction, presented the architectural design, internal layout, and landscaping work of the site. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of using environmentally friendly materials in medical construction and stressed that all work must meet modern standards.

The Minister of Health and Medical Industry reported that the Indira Gandhi Medical School in Ashgabat is currently training specialists who will work at the new center, and steps are being taken to continue workforce development.

National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also highlighted the importance of not only equipping medical facilities with advanced technology but also implementing digital innovations, expanding international cooperation with leading global clinics, and continuously improving the professional skills of healthcare personnel.
