Süýtli ýaýla Farm’s Herd Exceeds 1,600 Head of Livestock

The “Süýtli ýaýla” agricultural cooperative, located within the Seleňli council of Tejen district in Ahal velayat, has developed a modern livestock complex on 9 hectares of its nearly 600-hectare long-term leased land. The herd size has steadily increased and now exceeds 1,600 animals, as reported by the Türkmenistan newspaper on Tuesday.

Besides livestock breeding, the complex also processes milk and produces dairy products. These products are marketed under the “Gönezlik” brand and distributed to retail outlets.

The complex is designed to produce 3,000 tons of milk and 100 tons of meat annually.

More than 40 specialists work at the facility, applying advanced global practices to maintain optimal animal weight and increase milk yield. The farm produces nearly 30 varieties of dairy products, including cow’s milk, strained yogurt, curd, whipped cream, and ayran.

Looking ahead, “Süýtli ýaýla” aims to further expand its herd and dairy production volumes, intending to celebrate Turkmenistan’s 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality, marked during the International Year of Peace and Trust, with new achievements.
