Turkmenistan’s President Congratulates Azerbaijan on Independence Day
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended congratulations to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, as reported by the press service of the Azerbaijani president on Wednesday.
In his message, President Berdimuhamedov warmly congratulated President Aliyev and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan on the national holiday on behalf of the people and government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally.
He expressed confidence that the relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan — built on principles of good neighborliness, friendship, and mutual understanding — will continue to develop successfully in the interests of both nations.
President Berdimuhamedov concluded his message by wishing President Aliyev strong health and success in his state activities, and peace, prosperity, and well-being to the people of Azerbaijan.
Turkmenistan’s National Leader and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also sent a congratulatory message to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day.
