 
                                                        
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Alexander Lukashenko on his re-election as President of the Republic of Belarus, as reported by official media of Turkmenistan on Monday.
In his message, President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance Turkmenistan places on advancing bilateral cooperation, which is traditionally founded on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and trust. The head of state expressed confidence that under Lukashenko's wise and forward-thinking leadership, Belarus will achieve even greater success, and that the two countries’ relations will reach a new level.
Additionally, the President Berdimuhamedov wished President Lukashenko strong health, well-being, and continued success in his important state duties, aiming for a prosperous and happy life for all citizens of Belarus.
The presidential elections in Belarus took place on January 26, 2025, featuring five candidates, including Alexander Lukashenko, the incumbent president. According to an exit poll broadcast on state television, Alexander Lukashenko received approximately 87.6% of the votes.
