The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia, Dovletmurat Seyitmammedov, met on Friday in Tbilisi with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Bochorishvili. During the meeting, they discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including politics, economy, and culture.
The diplomats noted the importance of systematic interaction between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, emphasizing the significance of regular political consultations, as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia.
The Ambassador also spoke about major international events planned in connection with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the declaration of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," an initiative supported by the UN General Assembly.
In conclusion, the parties expressed confidence that the relations between Turkmenistan and Georgia will continue to strengthen and develop in the interests of both peoples.
