President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Trade Minister of Türkiye Ömer Bolat in Ashgabat, who arrived to participate in the Turkish Republic Export Goods Exhibition, as reported by official media of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.
During the conversation, the head of state emphasized the importance of the event as a platform to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Conveying greetings from President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Turkish minister expressed gratitude for the meeting and highlighted the strategic nature of relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye.
The discussions focused on prospects for developing trade and economic partnerships. The President of Turkmenistan underscored the importance of implementing advanced technologies and scientific achievements in various sectors of the economy and reaffirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to increase trade turnover and strengthen business ties.
Both sides noted that Turkmen-Turkish relations, based on historical closeness and mutual respect, continue to develop in areas such as trade, energy, textiles, and construction. They agreed that the Turkish Export Goods Exhibition would be an important step toward further deepening cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ömer Bolat exchanged well-wishes for good health and prosperity, expressing confidence in the continued strengthening of brotherly ties between the peoples of both countries.
