A delegation from Turkmenistan will participate in the Istanbul Energy Forum, scheduled for November 22 in Istanbul, Türkiye, as reported by an electronic newspaper focused on the oil and gas sector in Turkmenistan.
Anadolu Agency, with support from Türkiye’s Ministry of Energy, organizes the forum, which will gather energy ministers, international organization representatives, scholars, and industry leaders to discuss pressing global energy issues.
The main theme of the forum will be Common Future, Common Goals. Participants will discuss important issues such as Turkey's role in ensuring energy security, strategies for financing the energy transition, the development of oil and gas markets, and the implementation of new technologies in the energy sector.
The President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Energy Alparslan Bayraktar, and other high-ranking guests will speak during a special session of the forum. In a high-level panel discussion chaired by Bayraktar, representatives from Azerbayjan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Libya, Russia, Serbia, and Turkmenistan will discuss the future of energy.
The event will also include sessions organized by the Turkish Petroleum and Natural Gas Corporation (BOTAS) and discussions on new technologies and financing the energy transition.
