Turkmenistan Leaders Congratulate Donald Trump on Election Victory
Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov have congratulated Donald Trump on his election as President of the United States, as reported by the country’s official media on Wednesday.
In a statement, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of Turkmenistan's diplomatic relations with the U.S. He emphasized the need to enhance bilateral cooperation based on equality, mutual respect, and shared interests. "I believe the friendship and constructive partnerships between our nations will continue to deepen for the benefit of both peoples," he said.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov echoed these sentiments, expressing confidence in the ongoing development of relations between Turkmenistan and the U.S. "We hold our amicable relations in high regard and are committed to advancing them in the interests of our citizens," he stated.
Both leaders extended their best wishes to President-elect Trump for good health and success in his future endeavors.
