The second stage of the online training on the System of National Accounts 2008 (SNA 2008) completed on Friday at the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) office in Turkmenistan said in its press release.
The training was organized as part of the fourth component of the project “Strengthening institutional and technical capacity of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan”, implemented jointly by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan.
“The purpose of today's event is to increase the level of knowledge among employees of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan on the economic content and information opportunities of macroeconomic aggregates of the SNA 2008” said Akmyrat Danatarov, UNDP Programme Analyst for Governance, Economic Diversification, and Inclusive Growth.
At the end, the training participants were awarded certificates.
This training was organized with support of the “Experts on Demand” programme funded by the government of the Russian Federation.
Opening ceremony and first stage of the online training on the SNA 2008 was held on May 11 this year.
