During his visit to the United Arab Emirates, Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, engaged in discussions with Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure. The meeting delved into collaboration on natural gas, electricity, renewable energy, transport and logistics.
According to the press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan published on Monday, both parties acknowledged the potential for cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, expressing mutual intent to broaden opportunities.
On the same day, Turkmenistan's foreign minister met with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and President of the Court of the Arab Emirates. The discussions covered political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian aspects.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order, directing the visit of the country's delegation to the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi from February 11-14, 2024, as reported by official Turkmen media on Sunday.
The signed document aims to enhance and modernize the city of Arkadag, particularly through the exchange of experiences in introducing innovative approaches in areas such as artificial intelligence, the future economy, education, urbanization, healthcare, and addressing issues of international cooperation.
