Roberto Luongo proposed to organize meetings with representatives of interested companies of the two countries to establish a dialogue.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Italy Toyly Komekov held a meeting with the General Director of the Italian Trade Agency Roberto Luongo at the agency’s headquarters on Monday, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Italy said in its press release.
During the meeting, Ambassador Komekov informed the agency head of the possibilities and potential for economic cooperation between the countries. He especially emphasized the great potential for the development of trade-economic relations, in particular between private and public sectors of the two countries.
Roberto Luongo expressed his hope for the organization of a visit of the business circles of Turkmenistan to Italy this year, in order to familiarize them with the achievements of the country’s companies in various fields of production. In particular, he proposed to organize meetings with representatives of interested companies of the two countries to establish a dialogue. The Director General stressed that there is great potential for strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Italy in various directions.
The sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue and make every effort to promote bilateral relations in the economic sphere as well as between the business communities and private companies of the two countries.
