In October alone, Turkmenistan delivered more than 111.57 million kWh of electricity to Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyzstan imported nearly 781 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity from Turkmenistan in January-October of 2022, according to the data published by Kyrgyz Energy Settlement Center on Friday.
In October alone, Turkmenistan delivered more than 111.57 million kWh of electricity to Kyrgyzstan.
The central Asian country has imported a total of 2.6 billion kWh of electricity during the period.
Besides Turkmen energy, the country imported 1.2 billion kWh of electricity from Uzbekistan and 580 million kWh from Kazakhstan during the ten-month period.
Turkmenistan has been exporting electricity to Kyrgyzstan since August 2021. In 2023, Kyrgyzstan is expected to receive 2 billion kWh of Turkmen electricity in transit through Uzbekistan.
