Turkmen Railways to Expand Cooperation With Russian Company
During the video conference, the parties considered issues of production and supply of diesel locomotives and spare parts, and their further maintenance.
A video conference meeting was held between the representatives of the Türkmendemirýollary (Turkmen Railways) Agency, Demirýollary (Railways) Open Joint-Stock Company and the Russian Transmashholding Joint Stock Company on Thursday.
The parties considered issues of production and supply of diesel locomotives and spare parts, and their further maintenance.
During the meeting, the sides confirmed their mutual interest in expanding cooperation and measures for diversification of joint efforts aimed at realization of existing significant potential of the partnership.
The parties also exchanged views on training of maintenance and locomotive crews.
Transmashholding JSC, a largest manufacturer of locomotives and rail equipment in Russia, includes 15 engineering and production sites. The company’s international footprint covers over 30 countries.
