President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday was briefed by the Vice-Premier Chary Gylyjov on the creation of a virtual exhibition of export-oriented products and services, and on ongoing work on organizing a fair dedicated to the achievements of trade sector, carpet and textile production in Turkmenistan.
According to Vice Premier’s briefing, electronic data on enterprises and organizations, products and services, achieved economic success, will be presented to the population as part of the digital exposition using advanced technologies and electronic images.
It is proposed to develop a virtual exhibition of export goods in coordination with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and to place electronic stands of various industries and representatives of the private sector.
According to the Turkmen Leader, the concept of virtual exhibition will provide an opportunity to significantly expand the geography of the trade cooperation. The Head of State said a wide range of high-quality textile products made from natural cotton and silk fabrics, and Turkmen handmade carpets are produced in Turkmenistan using latest technological achievements.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the need for appropriate advertising and information support to ensure the active export of products, noted that the exhibition should reflect the country's capabilities in this direction and it should be developed on a scientific basis.
