A new production facility – a plant with an annual output capacity of 3,000 tons of carbon black – opened in Mary district of Turkmenistan’s Mary province on Wednesday.
Eziz Dag company implemented the construction project of the new enterprise, the country’s official media reports.
The plant, occupying a total area of 9.9 hectares, is equipped with modern machinery and advanced technologies. In addition to the production building, its structure includes an office building, a warehouse, a number of specialized engineering structures.
Carbon black is a product obtained from hydrocarbons. It has a diverse range of applications: it is added to polymers and it is widely used as a reinforcing filler in rubber products, improving their performance properties, in particular, it makes car tires durable.
