Turkmen Entrepreneur Produces Shoes Under MMB Brand
MMB shoes are exported to Russia, Georgia and Armenia.
Entrepreneur Bayramsakhet Mengliyev at his enterprise in the industrial zone in Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat launched the production of shoes under the MMB brand.
The plant, which opened in August last year, is equipped with the latest machinery from Italian and Turkish companies, the Turkmen newspaper Rysgal reports.
Most of the raw materials necessary for the production are purchased from a local leather manufacturer Aksuw, which is based in Baherden etrap of Ahal velayat.
The enterprise is designed to produce 5,000 pairs of shoes per month. It currently manufactures various types of men's and children's footwear for different seasons.
The company's products are reportedly in high demand in the domestic and foreign markets. MMB shoes are exported to Russia, Georgia and Armenia. The plans of the enterprise include the expansion of production, as well as the establishment of a line of women's shoes.
